Music Theory Class For Adults

Led by the talented Matthew Recio, this course is tailored just for adult learners. Build your musicianship with:
- Better sight-reading
- Harmony & chord basics
- Rhythm, intervals & more
- Even start writing your own music!
Meet Your Instructor:
Dr. Matthew Recio teaches music theory courses at DePaul University. He has previously served on faculty as theory instructor at Indiana University and composition faculty at the Luzerne Music Center. He has also been a guest artist and lecturer at Oberlin Conservatory, Cleveland State, Ithaca College and Stony Brook University.
Recio is a G. Schirmer published artist under the Craig Hella Johnson and Dale Warland series. He is a graduate of the Jacobs School of Music where he was a Jacobs Fellowship recipient for his D.M. and M.M. in composition.

Class Schedule:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays: 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Saturdays: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Private Tutoring:
Every student will receive a 25-minute, one-on-one tutoring session with the instructor each week.
Cost:
$515
Includes all assignments, materials, 17 hours of instruction and two private tutoring sessions
