DESCRIPTION:We’re launching our very first adult summer music course—and you’re invited!\nLed by the talented Matthew Recio\, this course is tailored just for adult learners. Build your musicianship with: \n\nBetter sight-reading\nHarmony & chord basics\nRhythm\, intervals & more\nEven start writing your own music!\n\nMeet Your Instructor:\n\n\n\n\nDr. Matthew Recio teaches music theory courses at DePaul University. He has previously served on faculty as theory instructor at Indiana University and composition faculty at the Luzerne Music Center. He has also been a guest artist and lecturer at Oberlin Conservatory\, Cleveland State\, Ithaca College and Stony Brook University. \n\n\nRecio is a G. Schirmer published artist under the Craig Hella Johnson and Dale Warland series. He is a graduate of the Jacobs School of Music where he was a Jacobs Fellowship recipient for his D.M. and M.M. in composition. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation:\nSt. Chrysostom’s Episcopal Church\n1424 N.
